The Black Country String Band began in 2013 (as the Black Country Ukulele Band) mentored by Pete Williams ex-Dexy’s Midnight Runners. 

The band (from the Black Country of course) have since performed on Radio 4, Heart FM, Bridge Radio and Radio W.M. and have played many venues including the University of Birmingham’s Bramall Music Building, Birmingham’s prestigious Symphony Hall and also at the Lancaster Music Festival.
